Shelter by Afternoon Light is the new, annual home and design fair set to hit refresh on New York Design Week with a debut in May 2025. Presenting a by-invitation roster of 100+ brands and creatives from the worlds of furniture, art, and decoration, Shelter is a gathering place for top-tier A&D trade and the design-loving public to see what’s new now. A three-day event, with one day dedicated exclusively to the trade, visitors will engage with a forward-thinking collective of best-in-class brands from multiple categories exhibiting new projects and products under one roof.

Customers can shop the floor and discover new collections from established furniture brands, the latest work from today’s most exciting independent design studios, plus take home small goods for every space.

Created by the founders of the Shoppe Object tradeshow and the online platform Afternoon Light, in partnership with ANDMORE, operators of the largest furniture showcase in the US, Shelter presents a new kind of market week event to celebrate, capture, and reinvigorate the New York design scene.
